1. About this policy
Natpagam is an app published by Niva Infotech (“we,” “us”). It helps a group of people who already know each other organise something together — a reunion, a family function, a trip.
Everything in the app belongs to one event and to the people invited to it. This page says exactly what the app stores, why, where it is kept, and how to get rid of it. It covers the Natpagam app specifically; Niva Infotech’s general policy is at Privacy Policy.
2. What Natpagam stores
2.1 Your account
- Mobile number — how you sign in, and how an organiser finds you in their list. Required.
- Your name — so a contribution, a task or an announcement has a person attached to it. Required.
- Email address — optional. A second way for an organiser to reach you.
- Profile photo — optional. A list of sixty names is hard to read; faces are not.
2.2 The event
- Contributions and expenses — the event’s books: what came in, what went out, what is left.
- Tasks, announcements and notes — who is doing what, and what everybody has been told.
- Photos you upload — the event’s shared album, and receipts attached to an expense.
2.3 Your device
- A notification token — so an announcement reaches your phone. It identifies a device, not a person.
- A local copy of the event’s records is kept on your phone so the app works without a signal. Deleting the app removes it.
3. Contacts
When an organiser adds somebody to an event, they can either type the details or pick a person from the phone’s address book. Only that second choice asks for contacts permission, and only at the moment it is used.
The app reads the name, number and email of the one person tapped, and nothing else. Your address book is never uploaded, copied or scanned. If you refuse the permission everything still works — members get added by typing.
4. Photos and the camera
Natpagam has no camera permission of its own. Taking a photo hands off to your phone’s own camera app, which returns the single picture you took. Photos you add are stored with the event and visible to its members.
5. Where it is kept
On Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage and Cloud Functions — in Google’s asia-south1 region, which is Mumbai, India. Everything between your phone and there travels over an encrypted connection.
Google processes the data on our behalf as the provider of Firebase, under its own terms.
6. What Natpagam does not do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics and no tracking. The app ships with no analytics software and no crash reporting — we cannot see how you use it.
- Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone outside the events you belong to.
- No profile is built about you, and nothing here is used to target you.
- No payment is processed. Natpagam records what a group says it collected and spent; paying happens in your own UPI or banking app, and no money passes through us.
7. Who else can see your data
Only the people in the events you belong to. An organiser of an event can see and edit that event’s records, including contributions recorded against your name. Somebody in a different event cannot see you at all.
Organisers can also choose to hide the totals, the payment list and the member directory from members entirely. Those are their settings, not ours.
8. How long it is kept
For as long as the event exists and you are part of it.
When you delete your account, your name, mobile number, email and photo are removed from every event you belong to, and you are signed out for good. What you contributed stays in that event’s books without your name on it — those are the group’s own record of its own money, and taking them out would change what everybody else sees.
9. Deleting your account
In the app: tap your picture in the top corner to open Profile, then Delete my account. It takes effect immediately.
If you no longer have the app installed, write to nivainfotechofficial@gmail.com from any address and tell us the mobile number you signed in with. We will delete it and confirm when it is done.
10. Children
Natpagam is for adults organising an event. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
11. Changes to this page
If what the app stores changes, this page and the date at the top change with it.
